In early 2019, a fire protection specifying engineer in the Midwest of the United States reached out to Johnson Controls about upgrading existing fire and life safety networks in two correctional facilities.

The customer was planning a major facility enhancement and wanted to upgrade to the latest networking technology to expand capacity and increase efficiency and speed, all while working from a centralized management platform.
